No more goodbye's

So I found this video by rascal flatts and it really touched me. It actually got me crying. I just wanted to share with you my thoughts. In the end of the video, the grandpa/father, asks his grandson what the other side is like, and the little boy responds, "there are no more goodbyes". I absolutely love that. In life, we always face death, or some sort of parting from someone. As it says in the beginning of the video, life seems to be full of chapters of goodbyes. And it is, but what is so beautiful about everything, is that when we pass on in life there will be no more goodbyes, there will be no more tears of sorrow. What may seem so scary, is in reality so beautiful. It just reminds me of the saying, "God be with you till we meet again". I just hope you can see the beauty in this video like I did, even if its a tear jerker.

Orcas Island

Hey Hey everyone!!! So, recently my husband and I had a fun little adventure to Orcas Island, where we meet up with my Aunt Robin and Uncle Jack! Sheldon and I had tons of fun hanging out with them. We went up to Mt. Constitution there on the Island and looked at all the different Islands. I really dont get how Aunt Robin and Uncle Jack can remember all the names of them.

We also enjoyed our hike to the waterfall. It sure was beautiful.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay there. It was alot of fun, and a great mini trip for My husband and I. We enjoyed Aunt Robin and Uncle Jack and cant wait to go up there agian!

Been Super Busy!!

Wow, sorry every one to take forever to get back to my blog! I have been super busy the past two months. Working full time and well... getting married. I know! Crazy!!! Last time I posted a blog, I was not married, nor engaged!! I just had a boyfriend! But, yeah, that changed on October 29th 2008! My boyfriend Sheldon at the time decided he was ready to take a big step and purpose to me on the beach of Redondo. This step was not easy for him, after walking the boardwalk three times and then walking along the shore, he finally popped the question. Of course, before he ever asked I protested about walking on the beach, because I might get my shoes dirty. But he insisted, so of course, I gave in, and a lovely surprise I received when I did. So what do you think I said after he asked? YES of course!!! Now, lets take a step back in life. You following? Ok, so lets go back to how this little couple meet. Sheldon and I have known each other since we were little kids. Growing up in the same ward, and well... never talking to each other. I guess we more knew of each other. Anyways, I moved away to California back in 2003, when I was 13 years old. Having some exciting years, some extremely challenging times, and many moves, my path led me back to the state of Washington on December 27th of 2007. Two weeks into moving, I went with my best friend to play pool with some of her friends, there I reacquainted Sheldon. But, this was not much of a beginning. He didn't remember me, but remembered my whole family... Yeah, real nice huh? Anyways, slowly we started to talk here and there, and then in March I received a job, where I was working with Sheldon every day 6 days a week, for 14-18 hours a day. Yeah, we got to know each other pretty well. After about a month though, he left the company, and I stayed. He had become one of my closet friends and I missed him. But things were getting hard for me, and life had many more challenges in store for me. A few months went by and Sheldon and I would talk on the phone or text here and there but rarely hung out because of our busy schedules. In August, my boss/friend, Katee, was getting married and I was her maid of honor. Sheldon was best friends with her brother and lived with all of her family, which required me to be at the house all the time. The first day over at her house, Sheldon and I, hit it off again immediately. Hanging out every day after that day, things began to change. Oblivious we were to our feelings, everyone else saw it, we were fastly falling in love. Sheldon always one step ahead of me though, deciding he was ready to share is feelings with me, he told me he liked me on September 3rd, 2008. But I was scared, and I didn't feel I was worth it. Running from the one thing I wanted the most I told him no, and that I couldn't do it. I didn't want our friendship to end over a stupid relationship, that I believed would never work. As I walked away, I felt the tears. I cried all night, thinking I lost my best friend. The next day, I was walking out to my car, because I was going out to see my mom and my brother's new house, Sheldon was driving by in his car. I was shocked! As he got out of his car we started talking, and everything was back to normal, like yesterday never happened. Asking him to come with me to see my family, we hung out like old times, but I knew my feelings had changed. I knew at that moment that we could never be just friends, because I was in love with him and I was scared, but I knew I couldn't live without him. The day was perfect, and I asked him if we could hang out the next day. He said yes, with probably the biggest grin I had ever seen. The next night things changed fast, as I said good night to him, we did our nightly hug, but it had changed, it was not just a hug, there was chemistry. And what was supposed to be just a hug, turned into a first kiss. A couple day's later, Sheldon decided he would try again. Monday the 8th, of September 2008 Sheldon asked me to be his girlfriend. What did I say this time? YES!! It was the happiest moment of my life, or so I thought. So just boyfriend, turned into more, fiance.

So, back to being engaged. After looking at many dates, Sheldon and I decided to get married the 12th of December, 2008. Now this, was the happiest day of my life. What I thought was a relationship that never would last, turned into something forever. We decided together no matter how hard it gets, or the challenges and trials we may face in the future, it would be better if we could endure those together and take on life as one, instead of on our own. We know it will be hard, but we are excited to make this work, and live happily ever after. We now have our first apartment, and already enduring financial challenges, but we are excited to put are brains to the test. Finding ways to make ourselves financially stable, we work as a team, and love it. Are new team is ready to take on the world, well... at least our world. Last Sunday we decided to take another big step together. We went back to church, and we loved it. We had the best time, and can't wait to go again next week. Making spiritual goals together, and deciding that we want to raise a family in the gospel, we decided that for our first anniversary, we will take the next big step, and become married for eternity. I honestly cant wait, and want it to be December right now. All well, for now it will have to wait, and that's ok. So, life is going pretty good for us, busy, but really good. I have never been so happy in my life, and I know Sheldon has a hard time not smiling. It sure is good to smile again. I just want to thank everyone that supported me and stood by me through the thick and thin. Thank you Tasha for the engagement photo's. Thank you Katrina for the beautiful wedding ceremony. Thank you Paul and Kerri for the wedding pictures. And most of all, thank you mom and dad for always loving me, even when I was a pain, or a mess. Thank you for supporting me in my decision to get married, I love you. And the last person I would like to thank is my husband, for marrying a girl that is gonna be one heck of a challenge to handle! No really, thank you, you have made me one of the happiest people on earth. I love you all!!! Stay updated for more, I swear I will get better at this!
